4-Day Pastor’s Conference:
Theme “The Parables of Jesus!”
Virtually all of the Pastors & Leaders commented that in all their years of ministry they had never received any training on the Parables of Jesus, the reason for the parables, how to interpret the parables, and how to teach on the parables.

“For the Pastors Conference, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday, the feedback has been overwhelmingly enthusiastic and the pastors and bishops have been extremely grateful.
They frequently say to my host pastor, Pastor Paul, "this is exactly what we need!"
Yesterday, I wasn't planning on teaching on the Holy Trinity but I shifted into that vital subject for a short time, explaining the nature of the Trinity and why that is so relevant for us on a daily basis. A bishop stood up and exclaimed the same thing; this is what we need!
Though the teaching is intensive and concentrated, I still love to crack jokes with them and we have a lot of laughter, so there's a significant joy in our meetings together.
So far, I've covered all the parables in Matthew 13, with a Parable of the Sower taking the most time, of course, and then I covered the Parable on Forgiveness from Matthew 18.
In addition, yesterday I went through the Prodigal Son and then the parables on prayer, from Luke 11 and Luke 18 and I also supplemented that with an extensive teaching from Romans 8:16-23 about God's plan to restore everything.
I've also taken them to many places in Scripture where particularly the Old Testament prophets discussed their great love of the word of God and we spent a good amount of time talking about the nature of God in Exodus 34:6-7.
This morning is the last session of the conference and I will try and get through the Parable of the Good Samaritan and finish with the parable focusing on responsibility and eternal rewards, in Luke 19:11- 27.”

Today, Friday, we finished our pastor's conference and I was quite amazed that in just over two hours, I was able to go through in depth the Parable of the Good Samaritan, the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:14-15, 19-31), and what I like to call the Parable of Responsibility and Accountability from Luke 19:11-27.
Tomorrow I'm greatly looking forward to spending several hours with Pastor Paul and Vivian just pouring into them.
Sunday I preach at a local church, and Monday head to Paris for 6 days of ministry in Grenoble, France! Friends, that you so much for sending me on the Mission Trip to Kenya and France. I could not go and minister as I do without “the sending” by ALL OF YOU! Thank you.
