Kenya: 2nd Story Update on School Fees pre-paid for two Orphans!

In Kenya the government does NOT pay for education... The children need to be sponsored.

Story Update:

Back in August 2023, several of Pastor Brad Abley’s partners sponsored two of the Orphans from Ebenezer Children’s Home, to be able attend a Boarding School for their Junior High School years. The top two students are Felix and Natalia. The new school year started in January 2024.

In Kenya the government does NOT pay for education... the children need to be sponsored.

We are happy to inform you that the students are reporting in for school at the Disciples of Mercy Academy Boarding School!

Meet Natalia, she is in grade 5. She will be joining Junior Secondary next year. The money that was sent for her has paid all her school fees for this year.

There was even extra money so the school managed to get her Scouts uniform! Thanks very much for supporting her!

Helping meet practical needs at the Orphanage:

When Pastor Brad goes on his Mission’s Trip to Siaya, Kenya he stays at the guest house on the grounds of Ebenezer Children’s Home - Orphanage. Pastor Brad is there to teach and train village pastor; but he delights in spending time with the orphans, building the Word of God into the children’s lives!

Pst Brad partners with a USA Ministry called MissionNow.Org to process donations for “Ebenezer Children’s Home in Siaya, Kenya.” This ministry is a husband and wife team. The wife is a Kenyan and used to help manage the orphans home! She married and American and moved to Los Angeles, California!
