Malawai-Africa: New Ministry Outreach to Train Pastors (audio)

New ** Training Pastors in Blantrye, Malawi
Pastor Brad Abley has ministered to this group before: Pastor Richard and his Ministry Teams from Blantyre, Malawi. They did Zoom Video Teaching previously. The Zoom connections were very troublesome due to technology, weather interference and the expense on their end to pay for the internet connection and the projector for 1.5 hour teaching time. After several attempts, Pst Brad gave up on try to connect with the group of Pastors and Leaders. They live in a very rural area and they are economically disadvantaged, finances for Pastoral Training are non-existent.
A year later, still wanting to meet the spiritual needs of this local community of Pastors and believers, Pst Brad desired to extend beyond their own walls to train pastors. He decided to move beyond Zoom Videos, Recorded videos and Teaching Notes sent via email.
This is a new relationship with Pst Richard and a new country for Pst Brad to minister in, so no contacts have been made for the possibility of teaching via Radio… Making trips to meet in person with the pastors is important; yet not totally necessary.
With the aim of reaching as many Pastors and Leaders at possible, Pst Brad and his wife came up with the idea of sending Pst Richard Brad’s pre-recorded Radio Messages from Kenya and Uganda! Sending the MP3 audio file radio recordings via WhatsApp is FREE! Pst Richard receives the 28 minute files and downloads it to his phone, the teaching notes are sent via email! He now has no technical issues. The cost to do this in Malawai is very minimal.
This has removed the barriers of:
Removes cost barrier
Removes the hassle of finding a meeting time and location
Removes technological issues
Removes the barrier of bad weather interfering with WiFi connectivity
Removes the time change barrier for Pst Brad: USA to Malawai
Removes Brad’s waiting for the translation to take place, so that he can proceed teaching
The pastors can now listen to as many teachings as they want in one sitting!
All of this builds confidence! The Pastors can easily access sound biblical teaching any time they want!

Pst Richard of Blantyre, Malawi pastors his own church. He is also part of a network of local Churches and Leadership groups. There are 9-10 groups that are part of this network. Each group averages 20 -30 people in attendance. Pst Richard oversees the teaching in these groups and is providing Pst Brad’s audio teachings and study notes to all those who own cell phones or laptops. Disseminating the teaching materials is an issue due to lack of access to this technology…
Pst Brad is amazed at what God is doing via a “grass roots” movement in teaching & training Pastors in Malawi! Just by the act of sharing his MP3 audio files & notes via email, teaching, training and Pastoral encouragement is going out in a country where Pst Brad has never visited!
