“Luther's Ninety-Five Theses Brought Huge Changes in the Church”

“Today is the true "Holy" day (the meaning of the word "holiday"): The 508th anniversary of the most important, post apostolic day in the history of the world, the beginning of the Protestant Reformation (PR).
The PR not only restored the truth of the Gospel, but it has brought salvation and dramatic transformation to multiplied billions of people. It would result in the Bible being translated into the common language of people all over the world, bringing the true light out of darkness and liberating humanity.
The PR brought about a revolution in science and medicine, established sound legal theory from Scripture, free market economics (lifting the masses out of poverty), education available to all, concern for the poor (i.e., orphans and widows), the founding of hospitals, freedom of the press, free inquiry, the establishment of the University system and the ability of generations to earn a college education.
It would result in the eventual overthrow of slavery and the exposure and rectification of human abuses that before were not addressed.
The PR paved the way for the founding of the United States and all the things (see the above) that have made this nation the envy of the world. Truly, this is the only thing worth mentioning and celebrating today.”
