“I want to thank God for the message I recently listened to from Pastor Brad Abley about suffering and the meaning of the cross of Jesus. For a long time, I had heard teachings about the cross, but this time the Word came to me in a very personal and powerful way.
As I listened, I realized that suffering in Christ is not in vain, and it is not a sign of God abandoning us. Rather, it is part of our fellowship with Him sharing in His sufferings so that we may also share in His glory. The teaching opened my eyes to see that the cross is not just a symbol of pain, but also of victory, love, and hope.
Before, I sometimes found myself asking “Why me?” when I went through challenges. But now, I understand that trials are shaping me, strengthening my faith, and aligning me more with the life of Jesus. I now know that to carry the cross of Christ is to walk in surrender, obedience, and trust, even when the road is difficult.
This message has given me courage, peace, and renewed strength to serve God faithfully in Namalere, no matter the circumstances. I was so blessed, and I now know what it truly means to live under the cross of Jesus.
