The invitation and making the connect!

Pst Krystle and Joy’s invitation to go on this Mission Trip, came from Pastor Brad Abley. He has been ministering in Africa for 11 years. He has ministries in Kenya and Uganda. This is his third year to be invited to be the Keynote Speaker at the Annual Mega Conference.

Pst Brad’s Kenyan Ministry Partner is Pst Paul Ochieng. His ministries, African Word Ministry and Word Christhan Center are the ones hosting this conference. Over the years, Pst Brad had mentioned to Pst Paul that he wanted to bring some worship leaders from the worship team at home, from Riverbend Church. Pst Paul welcomed the idea of Pst Krystle and Joy helping lead worship at the conference. Pst Paul also invited Dr Bobby Hill to join the team, he will be the second Keynote Speaker!

Pastor Brad Abley writes:

“Pst Krystle and her sister Joy will help lead worship at the conference and hold Workshops on Worship. Teaching on worship is a vital topic of urgent importance to the Church there.

In 11 years of ministry in Siaya, I’ve seen that the Kenyan church has had little or no teaching on worship and that consequently, it has been "stuck" -- through no fault of their own – in understanding and growth in this vital matter.

Hence, this opportunity for Pst Krystle, Joy and Dr. Bobby Hill is an urgent and strategic one, with a great opportunity to partner with the Kenyans to shape the church for a generation.

Throughout the nation of Kenya there is a widespread expectation that God is going to send revival to the nation, but there is also the conviction that it will begin in a region few would expect: In remote Siaya -- not Nairobi, nor Kisumu -- nor any other large Kenyan city.

Key to this revival is first the need for reformation in the church -- reformation in its Teaching and in Worship.

Many think that the annual Mega Conference in Siaya -- a gathering of 2,000+ Christian leaders throughout Kenya -- may well be the catalyst for that revival.”

This amount covers the costs for both Pst Krystle and Joy!
